Presto TuneUp can be automatically installed through a Trojan infection such as Vundo, without your permission. Once Presto TuneUp is installed, it usually prompts many fake popups and system alert messages attempting to get you to purchase a licensed version of Presto TuneUp.

Presto TuneUp is also known to automatically scan your system returning many illicit parasite results. Presto TuneUp is not able to remove any legitmate computer parasite. Just like other rogue anti-spyware programs, Presto TuneUp does not detect spyware either.
