Paladin Antivirus, or PaladinAntivirus, is a rogue antivirus program and product of a blatant cyber scam. Paladin Antivirus enters the computer when a related Trojan infection opens a backdoor to allow Paladin Antivirus entry to the compromised system. Once active, PaladinAntivirus will produce a fake PC scan and results which warn that the computer is infected with malware. These scare tactics are used to convince the unwary computer user to purchase Paladin Antivirus software, for removal of the alleged threats detected.
